A constant stream of warm air was obvious. Now, I am no thermodynamics guru, but it seems pretty obvious to me that less hot air in the roof cavity = less heating of the rooms below. For me, this is justification enough for the WDV3000. Add in the bonus elements of free cavity lighting and minimal wear on the bearings, and you have a winning product.
